Use a car battery to charge an iPhone?

I'm in charge of the gear for my son's Boy Scout troop. We have a trailer that gets pulled to all our campouts. Inside the trailer is a 12V deep cycle marine battery that powers the interior dome lights and exterior spots.

Does anyone know of an accessory that could leverage the terminal posts to charge iPhones or other portable devices?

You could use something like this coupled with whatever cigarette lighter cable is needed for the particular device. You could even chop off those clips and put on eyelets to permanently attach the cables to the battery.
