I am trying to use an old iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2 as an iPod. I can't seem to get it working. I have tried with a SIM and without. It just keeps SPAMMING my current iphone 7 with Allow requests and there's no way to type in the code, I never get prompted. I am typing in my Apple ID correctly, but it just loops over and over.

Any ideas?

“If you use two-factor authentication with devices running older OS versions, you might be asked to add your six-digit verification code to the end of your password when signing in”

If that doesn’t work, you can temporarily turn off two factor (set up secret questions), log into iTunes on the 4, then turn two factor back on.
