Hi, I have a project ready to burn in iDVD; however I don't have a DVD burner. My choices are to use a PC (preferable) or a MacBook @ 10.5.2, which both have DVD+RW drives. My questions are these: What is the best way to make use of the PC's optical drive (if their is one), preferably from my iBook (aka some way I could connect the two and have the PC's drive appear in iDVD).
The other question is, with the .2 update of Leopard, DVD/CD drive sharing seems to have become an option, so is this feature accessible from my 10.4.11 iBook? If so, I assume a FW connection would be best (aka better than Ethernet or 802.11). Now, in theory I could also boot up the MacBook in Target Disk Mode and still be able to use its drive, right?
Thanks for your help

Do it the other way round....boot up the iBook in target mode the use the MacBook to access your iDvd project then burn....

Or target mode as above then drag the iDvd project to the MacBook's desktop and burn....
