Use apple wireless keyboard with 2 macs (not at the same time)

I have an older Macbookpro with a busted keyboard (well just a few keys) and a new Imac with the apple wireless keyboard.

Can I pair the keyboard with both macs. I know that I can pair the keyboard with my MBP but will I need to pair it again when I want to use it with the imac?

I paired my iMac keyboard with my Macbook air and was able to use it again with my iMac without having to repair.
