Hi All

I this may be an easy one but its confusing me!

I want to enable find my iphone and to do this I understand I will need an icloud account. The problem for me is however that I do not want to backup my phones content to icloud, rather I just want to leave it backed up where it is in iTunes. For some reason I don't feel comfortable having my data backed up in icloud.

My question therefore is: Is it possible to use icloud just for the find my iphone feature without having to back up anything to it? I assume its a case of simply selecting an option to 'opt out' of having to back anything up but I just want to check?

Many Thanks

Leon

Thanks but will this still enable me to use icloud for the find my iphone feature?

That is the only part (or thing to do with) icloud that I want to use.

Thanks

Yes it will. I don't back up anything to iCloud, and find my phone works fine.
