Use Interface robustness.... what??

hey, i was just wondering, what does "use interface robustness" do?

Do you mean interference?
I believe it reduces the range of the airport wireless card, temporarily, but increases the strength of the signal, just for situations where such devices as wireless phones may be interfering with the airport signal.
