Just wondering whether there is an easy way to use an iPad Pro as an external monitor for a laptop (Windows 7) PC - on occasion, not full time?

I run various music software on my laptop PC, but it's not convenient to place the laptop directly in front of me as I'm sitting at my piano, so it's a bit hard to read the screen. However, the IPP sits on the music stand quite nicely.

Any thoughts on having the IPP display what's on the laptop PC would be appreciated. (Note: The IPP would NOT need to control the laptop application - just to display it).

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip about Duet, guys. Unfortunately, I'm out of available USB ports on my laptop. Would anyone know whether Duet would work thru a USB hub?

Thanks!

So I got around to dling and installing duet today. 12.9 ipp and a Surface Pro 4 with win10.

It connects fine but a few issues:
1) the app is glitchy and when you select Extreme or Retina it flips back and forth a few times and settles back on High. However the actual resolution on the iPad does appear to change

2) the artifacting and fuzziness are awful. I can survive for now using it for server RDP work but outlook was giving me a headache immediately

3) it was creating a fair amount of flickering on the screen and corruption on my surface monitor

Definitely has promise, but pretty rough. Am I alone in these experiences?
