Use Iphone A/C adapter for other products?

Specifically, I want to know if I can use the A/C adapter to charge up a Garmin GPS? I would like some info before I try it if you know what I mean.

I'd be nervous trying, but it should be OK. The adapter converts to USB standard, so it should be fine.

Yup... That charger is nothing special. Just a USB power adapter.

I use mine to charge my blackberry as well as my iphone. Works like a charm.

Yup. I use mine for charging anything that powers from a USB port.
