Hi there,
I was wondering if it was possible to connect my dvd player to my mac book pro, so I could watch movies on the excellent display, and have the sound play through the surround setup that is already hooked up to the dvd player. I know it's an unusual thing to want to do, but there's a reason: our projector disappeared during a recent burglary.
Hope someone can suggest a way to do this
Thanks
Hugh

I don't think you can pipe video into the computer unfortunately. Someone here will be able to explain why technically. Would be great though.

thanks for your help
