use macbook trackpad in iMac

Is it possible to use my macbook's trackpad for controlling the iMac's mouse?

Teleport can control the mouse pointer on your iMac, but gestures will not work.

Yes, this is absolutely possible if both computers are on the same network. Just enable screen sharing and log in from your MacBook. I would highly recommend purchasing the Magic Trackpad, though.
