I recently made a new @me.com e-mail addy with the launch of iCloud. iChat doesn't seem to accept my username or password. Any way around this?

Checkout Apples Web Page for iChat. Looks like iCloud accounts should work. I converted from MobileMe so was not sure about new iCloud users.

"To use iChat, all you need is access to the Internet and one of the following accounts: iCloud, MobileMe, AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), Google Talk, Yahoo, or Jabber. Here's how to set up and use iChat."

    Solved, I think

I think I figured it out.

I moved from MobileMe to iCloud the other day and noticed tonight that iChat wasn't letting me log in anymore.

I deleted and then recreated the account in iChat preferences, which consisted of all of about ten seconds to type in my username and password again.

    Works just fine now.
