Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone had found a way to use their mobile phone internet connection to browse the web on their touch?

I wish the touch had bluetooth built in then it wouldnt be a problem.

I already do this on my MBP using my 3G connection on my mobile phone.

would some kind of bluetooth dongle support this? i see some people seem to use them?

cheers

This isn't going to happen without some hectic hacking and dongle making. Either it's going to be a once off or some company will make a nice pretty product for us consumers.

It depends on your mobile phone: I use a Windows Smartphone to connect to the internet on my touch. Basically, on smartphones with the Internet Connection app you can put in a registry hack to get it to share over an ad-hoc wi-fi network rather than Bluetooth PAN, and from there it's a piece of cake. Not seen any solutions for other phones, though.
