Use my dead 2013 MBA SSD with my older 2011 MBP via adapter? Will this work?

Hi!

So, my 2013 MBA is officially dead.

The Sandisk SSD is well though.

Was wondering if I can transplant it to my older 2011 MBP (which has a regular SATA drive).

I do need a SATA to NVME adapter I suppose. But checking if this will even work.

The 2015 Air SSD will only work in the late 2013 to early 2015 Pro and mid 2013 Air to 2017 Air.

The SSD from an Air 2015 is an AHCI PCIe drive. The drive interface in the 2011 is SATA. There is no adapter that will allow a PCIe drive to work on a SATA bus.

It is a hardware limitation.
