Use standard functions only in EXCEL (without FN)

    Is it possible to use only in the Microsoft Excel the keyboard's standard functions? So without pressing the FN function access to F1 -F12, and in all other apps the normal functions thats printed on the keys (brightness, volume etc)

    I tried with bettertouchtool but can't find it out so far..

    Try Karabiner (previously called KeyRemap4MacBook). For instance, I have mine set to allow F1-F12 normal use inside VMs (since Alt-F4 is my favorite key combo in Windows), but regular functions everywhere else.

    I primarily use it to move the Ctrl key to the proper place on the MacBook, but it has a lot of other functions that can be useful.
