Please.....
If you were moving from a G5 to a new Mac Pro would you use the initial or new Transfer Assistant to move the data? How would you move the data? I read somewhere that it could cause your new machine to run slow.

I transfered all but the applications using the assistant. They all seem to be working well other than MS Excel.
