Use Zune As Hard Drive

I have an old Zune 30gb that I don't use anymore. I was wondering if I would be able to format it to use it as an external hard drive. Would this be possible?

Yes. Look for "use Zune as Hard Drive" on the world wide web, and you will get some guides how to do that. But they seem to be only for Windows.

If he has a windows machine (if not, someone he knows probably uses one) he can format it to be an external drive, and format it for mac use.
