Used D70s Price?

Hey all,

I just have a quick question. I've noticed that my D70s is just sitting around collecting dust since I've been using my D200 and a D2X more. Sooo... how much is a used D70s going for? It's been hardly used - probably no more than 700 shots total. No scratches, "dents", or malfunctions.

Please let me know.

KEH has one in "EX" condition for $484 (body only). Given the low use of your camera, and the "like new" condition you describe, I'd say at this point its probably worth about $525-$550 or somewhere in there.

Neither Nikon nor Canon generally telegraph their moves, but I'd say the D80 and the last D200 firmware update are pretty-much are about the only prosumer upgrades until next year.

Hopefully this year brings the D3H and D3x, if for no other reason than to end the incessant speculation on the various online fora.

You could always trade for a decent, all manual film SLR with a few lenses, like my setup 😉

Thom Hogan expects a D200s this year, and a full-frame D300 about a year later (PhotoTokina 2008).
