I just purchased my iPad! It is used, and the seller has been kind enough to leave the apps on their iPad for me to use.

This is my first i(product) except for my iMac. I was wondering if I will be able to sync the iPad to my computer without losing those apps. If I can't, is there any way I can still keep the apps?

Any insight on this subject or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If you have their apps store login you can right click on the ipad in itunes and choose "Transfer Purchases" to transfer all the apps to your computer and keep them.

If there is another way to do it I'd be interested to hear about it.

(I haven't received my iPad yet... I should get it later this week. I just wanted to get a head start on finding a solution!)

The apps are tied to the persons iTunes account. I doubt they will give you their password, so try them out and see what you might want to buy, but you won't be able to do much with them after that.

I'm pretty sure that if you try and sync with a new computer, as in a different one to what it syncs with now, you will lose all synced media, including apps.
