Used MBP

i'm planing to buy used MBP rev.A with core duo processor. I know there are many problems with them, coz they are rev.A. Can someone help me and advise what to be careful for? What to look for? I dont know all bugs..

The main problem I heard of that probably still pertains to the MBP Rev. A is the heat issue, but thats to be expected with such a thin machine. Other thatn that I have no idea as I only have an iMac.
