Trying to see what everyone's opinion is here. If you were looking to buy a used PB....would it be more attractive if it had the extended 2-year Applecare?

My 1st year Applecare expires soon, and I'm debating if I want to extend because I think I might sell the PB soon anyway. I recently got a PM G5 and don't feel I need both (even though I want to keep both!) 🙂

for the same price/specs, of course, an inclusion of applecare would be preferred...

i think buying an applecare would unnecessarily raise the price and turn away people who aren't interested in paying for the warranty. (or you'd have to eat the price of applecare yourself.)

i'd try to sell before the year is up and inform the buyer that he/she has the option to purchase the applecare.

buying applecare for $XXX will not enable you to sell your used Mac for $XXX more dollars, so you will be taking a bit of a loss.
