Used Power Mac G5 Optical Door Frame Plate

The Plate where the Optical Drive Opens and Closes is missing. Wondering how I fix this if I can find a part.

I wonder why it is gone.

Is it fixable?

Looks like the plate is only hanging in the „open“ position. This is a known problem.

inside is a screw. 1/4 or 1/2 rotation counterclockwise normally let the plate pop up. After this I have used a small point of teflon oil on the plate sides to fix it.
