Useless Iphone docks

Weekend bought a lightning Iphone dock.

Though be better than laying on bedside cabinet.

Plus when alarm goes off can see it better.

So in store sat phone in dock and seemed ok.

got home took it out packet and plugged into apple charger and placed phone in dock......
nothing!

Turns out the connector is 1-2mm too short!
I have to take phone out of case!

Why do they not make docks that work WITH case on phone!

I had same problem with samsung note3/S7 edge and for samsung went through 4 docks none worked with a case.

Is there a dock that works with a case?

I've got a Speck case on mine and my dock works fine. Just make sure the phone is FULLY seated

Cannot push phone down any harder onto the dock no.

I had this problem with my note 3 and S7 edge.

Any MFi-related issues?

I see the packaging says it's MFi, but the listing doesn't. No matter, claims are claims, the proof is in the pudding, at they say...

It's only five bucks, so it's not the end of the world if it's junk...

Never had any problem with it. Just charges at max usb speed
