User settings never saved

Hey everyone,

Every time i restart the computer, my dock along with all my other user related settings are reset to some unknown saved point. All the finder windows I had open at the point are also opened. I have multiple users.

Any help?

Have you changed the Home folder name of these accounts?

How much room do you have left on you HD? When my ibook's hd was almost full the virtual memory was writeing over my prefs... (Doing exactally what you describe)

No. I might want to add that recently one of my users was corrupted so I had to move all it's Library from the old one to a new one. I have of course set the right permissions.

10% of my 160gb harddrive is free.

So this is happening on all the accounts? Well, I guess you could fsck a go to make sure your hard drive isn't acting up. I'm not sure what the next step would be... 😱
