Uses for a dead powermac G4?

i've been trying to work up the nerve for this with one of my old G4 cases.

I know that guy. I can proudly say that the paint job on it and a few other was copied from myself and my friend Adam. We were the first to do that style of paint job back in 2004. My current tower is painted with car paint. My first in 04 was spray paint.

I've been trying to convince myself that hacking a micro atx mobo in the G4 case is worth it.

One great G4 paint job I saw just had the grey parts painted black. The handles were left unpainted and the side panels had the paint on the inside stripped. You need a special kind of paint stripper/thinner that is plastic friendly.

So the grey was gloss black and the handles and side panels were clear plastic. Looked good also but I prefer my style like the above. Just another idea for you.

joking apart don't confuse an agreement that software vendors try and force on people and what is legal.

lol at all the pc users that commented at the beauty on the G4 case!! hahaha they can hate macs all they want, but put windows hardware in there and suddenly they realize the beauty of the design.

the way I see it is i'll be installing OSX on apple "branded" hardware as per the EULA. There's a giant apple on the side of the tower.

Buy some cloths and a few bottles of pure isoproyol alcohol and pour them into the case. Let sit for a few hours and the paint will just completely come off with just a bit of rubbing.
