nobody forces you to own an ipad... if you dont see the point of an ipad get rid of it... things you find troublesome are normal for other ipad users... if you prefere your mac use it - dont try to make up stuff to use an ipad for... no point - just move on.

Different people have different preferences and needs. I use my iPad 4 every day, for checking email, surfing the web, checking Facebook and Pinterest, viewing my photos, watching YouTube videos, storing recipes, reading ebooks and magazines, and other things. For more serious writing, photo editing, video editing, and music production, I use my Mac. For phone calls, taking pictures, listening to iTunes, checking the weather, and looking up information when I'm on the go, I use my iPhone. The balance is always shifting.

I find using the ipad is much easier to use than my laptop especially when kicking back in the bed and watching a movie. Cannot roll around and get comfy with a laptop especially when it starts heating up.

I think of the ipad as an extension of my iphone..I can do pretty much the same on each but I can do a bit more on the ipad..like better web viewing etc. Whatever I cannot do with a tablet or phone I then turn to the laptop. The laptop is only used for "heavier" processing stuff.

I rather use my ipad than my phone or laptop..lighter and ease of use.

If you can't find any use for it, it's not worth it to keep it.
