Wow, wow, wow. I just discovered that after pairing my iPad Pro 12.9 and my iPad Pro 10.5 through Universal Control, you can put the Macbook to sleep and the two iPads remain connected through Universal Control. Using the 10.5 in Portrait whilst my 12.9 stays in it’s Magic Keyboard with the nice little trackpad is a dream come true. The best part, with the Macbook closed it doesn’t even “move” the mouse away to the other third screen (the Macbook, which I don’t even use!). All in all, I just wanted to let people with 2 iPads here know that you can, now, use both at the same time. And it is just uncanny how wonderful it feels!

Oh, good point. I use my iPads without letting the screen go off, ever (they are always connected, and I use PDF files as reference all the time while I use my laptops). But as soon as the screen doesn’t go off, I don’t think it ever disconnects from each other.
