Using 60% RAM? WHAT IS THIS!

so theres this thing in istatmenus and in activity monitor called kernel_task and WTF is this its driving me crazy...i'm going to upgrade my ram to 4gb but until then i rly wanna know how i can fix this plz help😕😕😕😕😕😕😕

You should Force Quit it.

Seriously, just restart your computer.

my suggestion is to not worry about the way OS X and its system processes utilise RAM. just check out thread, read [url=http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1342?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_AU]this article and only show "My Processes" in Activity Monitor.
