I’d like to know if an adaptor like this one could let me use a 1440p resolution on my Power Mac G5 that has an ATI Radeon 9600, I know the resolution is supported by the graphics card (using the dual link DVI port) but I’m wondering if it will work with that adaptor.

Has anyone tried that out?

Thanks again, (I think this is my first post on here and I have like 8 ppc Macs, it was long overdue: UPDATE, sadly this my second post)

You need the Atlona DP-400 dual link DVI to DisplayPort adapter. I have one of these and it works great with my 4K monitor. 2560x1440 at 60 Hz from a 2005 PowerBook G4. Dr. Bott and Gefen also produced this kind of adapter; Dr. Bott's is a clone/rebrand of Atlona's.
