Using a DV Camcorder to display images on screen?

Is it possible to use a firewire camcorder to display a live image on my mac's screen? I would imagine it is, but just not sure how. Any advice?w

Yes. You can use a program like Security Spy

Wait, Try QuickTime Pro. That can record movies form firewire cams.
If you don't want to record... Try iChat. That just displays your cams view.
