Using a mybook drive in a macbook?

    I have one of the newer 500gb wd mybook essential editions,and i was wondering if its possible to take the hard drive out of the external and put it in my macbook?

    The mybook is a desktop sized 3.5" drive so no. The wd passport is a 2.5" drive, and many members have replaced their stock drives with those.
