So i recently got a CRT display and decided to hook it up to my notebook, it works flawlessly accept for one thing...and I don't know if it's possible to change. I opened up Call of Duty 4 in the hope that my second screen would stay open so that i could keep browsing music and chatting on Adium. But to my disappointment it went dark and could do nothing with it...So my question is, is it possible to open the game but still have one screen open for doing other stuff and not go black? It does not matter which screen i play on...Although i couldn't get the CRT to play COD my laptop screen did that for me. Is there anything I can do?

I was looking for these things too in all kinds of full-screen apps. It's a shame they seldom have a function to adjust the secondary/primary display. But maybe there is an app that can do this generally for whole OSX?

Anyway, I'm curious too!:D

You might want to see if you can run COD in a window mode, if so, you're desktop will remain untouched and you would be able to use Safari and other stuff.
