Using a USB 2.0 External HD for iTunes libary anyone?

Hey!

Just wandering if anyone has used / or uses an external usb 2.0 drive for their itunes libary....
Is playback of songs smooth?
If so what is your drive speed?

I use an external for iTunes, no problems whatsoever.

I use a 250GB lacie external HD (USB2), and it works perfectly🙂 No playback problms etc. Although, since I have a MB, it is quite a pain if I want to carry around my IT library with me😱

Itunes and external HD

I am using a Seagate 300 GB drive and am very pleased with it's performance. It is a 7200 RPM 16 MB cache.🙂
