Using a Windows keyboard on a Mac..?

Hi,

I just hooked up my old Windows keyboard to my new Mini (ok I'm cheap 😀) but it seems to be acting strange..

Not too sure if my memory is going but I swore on my old PB I hit Alt-S to submit forum posts. Now I actually need to hit Ctrl-S.

The Windows key seems to act as per normal as the "Apple" key, so it is fine. Is there something wrong with my setup?

Nope, nothing wrong. If you want to change the Windows & Alt keys around for your keyboard then there is a really easy way to do that. Go to System Properties > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard tab and click the "Modifier Key" button in the lower left hand corner. Switch Option and Command around then you will have the standard layout for OS X on a Windows keyboard.

It must CTRL + S to submit forum messages. ALT + S brought up the Greek symbol Beta for me. (cool shortcut. I never knew about it)
