I've been having issues with my battery draining pretty significantly during Sleep...I have made a few changes from recommendations here.

I was looking at my activity monitor and noticed a process called Kernal_Task which consumes a significant portion of energy used but also Idle Wakeups seem really high. The screen shot is not even close to what I witnessed when running it earlier where it was 632!

Is this normal?

I don't know much about this stuff, but I have a 12" Macbook (2015 1.3 GHz model) with no current battery drain issues. (I had them when I first started using the computer, but turing off power nap on battery fixed them for me). I just checked my activity monitor & I show similar idle wakeups from kernel task (578) so my guess is this isn't what's causing the battery drain for you. I could be wrong obviously, but they aren't causing it on my system at least.
