I am a young, learning CIO for a small business.

I plan to buy a new Mac Mini to set up as a server for my "client" iMacs to access Filemaker Server and file sharing. I want to use the airport on the MacMini and internet sharing to share the servers wirelessly on my LAN. However, I want the other iMacs in my office to be able to connect to the MacMini for client-server purposes, but still use the ethernet connections on the iMacs to access the outside so it doesn't slow down my internet.

Is this possible to use them both simultaneously for different purposes?

Thank you, and I would appreciate any help.

No, you'll need a router. Of course, there's also the firewire port, which can be used for network purposes as well.

its easy but you'll need a router to split the connections and gain acess to the ADSL and a switch system for each room of macs
