My friend lives down the hall and I get his wireless signal. He's willing to save me half of what Im paying per month if I want to just share his. However, I love having wireless printing and music on my Express. Any way to use my Express (without internet) and his Lynksis (with internet) both? at the same time? Would it be much easier if we got an Basestation instead?

Unfortunately I don't believe you can. If he had an Airport Extreme base station you could create one network, but not with his (3rd Party) router, unless of course you run an ethernet cable between the two, which does not sound practical.

I'm not sure, but I think you can... isn't it in one of the utilities? I don't have any other router in use, only the Airport Express...

but maybe it's only possible in a wireless environment based on all airport stations...

you could just connect to the Airport when you need to print and then reconnect to the linksys afterwards... music... same operation, wich would rule out internet use at that time...
