Hey all

I just upgraded to leaopard from 10.4.11. I have an iomega 500GB external hd and a macbook pro. With my old system, I would make a bootable sparse image backup using SuperDuper! on the hard drive, that way I could use that same hard drive as a storage device for movies and music I wanted quick access too. So here is my question...

With Time Machine in Leopard, I have read about how to make a bootable backup with Time Machine, but they say it is necessary to have an external hard drive dedicated to TM. Is there any way I can continue using my iOmega for both a bootable backup and quick storage while making the TM backup bootable?

I sure would appreciate any responses!!

Stick with SuperDuper

I use SuperDuper on my Macbook with 10.5.2. The latest version of SD is fully Leopard compatible and can apparently reside on the same volume as a Time Machine backup, although I don't know how that affects bootable TM backups. I don't use TM as SD does everything I need.
