Using an iPhone 17 with a 2015 MacBook Pro - Possible?

At the moment I have an iPhone 7 Plus using iOS 15.8.8 and a 2015 MacBook Pro running on macOS 12.7.6. Although I plan to upgrade both of these devices at some point - I'll probably upgrade my phone first, and then my MacBook Pro.

My question is this: Will an iPhone 17 (Pro Max) work with my ancient 2015 MacBook Pro?

Between the two devices I share Photos (album), mail, and probably other stuff that I'm unaware of - or vaguely aware of. I pay for iCloud and the two devices are sync'd. I use Photos the most - Typically, I'll snap a picture using my iPhone and then view, share, edit the photo on my MacBook.

Yes, as long as you're using iCloud they'll work together just fine. There are only a couple of iCloud features that aren't supported on macOS 12 - for obvious reasons 😉 you're not using those features now so I doubt you'll miss them much.
