My sister bought my iPhone 7+ when I upgraded to the iPhone X, she is having a problem with handling her email. She mostly handles her email on the iPhone, but occasionally does it on her Hewlett Packard computer. When she went to use the email app on her computer (she has a Yahoo account) she found out that the computer has not been deleting the emails that she has deleted on her iPhone. My question is this: is there a way to tie the emails on both the iPhone and the computer together so an action on one will be also done on the other?

Sounds like there might be a syncing issue. Maybe, she can try delete the email account and re-add it back. Or use the official Yahoo Mail app than Apple.

I don't use a Yahoo account but have a number of GMail, MSN, and other accounts.
For the most part the only issue I have is the iDevice lag.
Delete in Android, Windows, or MacOS - the iDevice may lag deleting locally compared to other devices.
Delete on my iDevice, there is frequent lag updating the accounts on my other devices.
Biggest issue is MSN (Outlook).

Chances are, the e-mail account is setup as POP3 instead of IMAP. She needs to find an IMAP compatible e-mail program for Yahoo mail, or just use the browser (probably much easier and better).

Tell her not to use email app on the computer, just go straight to yahoo.com in the browser.
