Hmmm... I'm glad i took the time to even try to warn you before you make your purchase. How are you supposed to find this information out? You present this task as some sort of overwhelming search for the answer to the question is there life after death? You obviously have internet, go google it and figure it out. Oh and dopn't act like you came on macrumors to seek out the help of this community on this specific question, that is a post-hoc justification of a comment/assumption you made in your posting, none of your questions raised this until I brought it up!

1. Acctually I don't have internet (or didn't have it till today). Everything up to then has been through my Cell phone. So googling isn't exactly the easiest thing. I've never said i came on MacRumors for this question. I came on this particular thread to figure my HDTV/LCD TV needs out. And who cares if i didn't propose this question before you brought it up? Doesn't mean it I'm not curious now. As I said before, it'd just be an added bonus, but really is the last of my worries.

I have decided to get the 19" Samsung. I went to Bestbuy and took a boo at it (after a lot of bitching with useless sales people I finally got the manager, he is a good guy) I hooked up my Macbook to the VGA port and damn, it looks nice. Exactly like an LCD monitor. 1440x900 looks nice, and HD video of Gears of War had some of the sales dudes over and admiring it. The lack of HDMI sucks, as does the 1 set of component cables. But, the 23" version with HDMI, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 2 sets of component etc. is $999 while the 19" is $525, and the resolution is a lot less. Time to go pick'r up tomorrow from a decent store...

good call dude, I think you are going to be really pleased with your decision. What do you plan to hook up to it again?

And I thought I read some review about the guy who had the Westinghouse that it did that as well... Maybe I was dreaming... I'll look into that though quick. What about my other question I asked?
In case anyone cares, the Westinghouse (or at least the 37" one I have) can PIP any two sources.

gonna hook up my Macbook/Xbox 360 to the VGA, PS2 to the composite, when I get a PS3 it's gonna go via DVI<->HDMI adaptor. The 360 will move between my room and my games room where the 50" DLP is. But sometimes I just wanna lay in bed and play GoW :D

^ I see my girlfriend after 5 months. It's a nice reminder of how close it's getting.

Thats why I am buying the TV now, once she moves here I will be broke so might as well get my toys now :D

nice, enjoy1 Especially, if she looks anything like your username pic.

who is she by the way? The blonde in the pic, not your girlfriend:rolleyes:
