Using ancient PB monitor-settings?

Again I am ignorant, what 'geometry' and OSD settings for khz should I use? if I can use it with Pro 2007

I'd use 6 feet off the ground and a 3 bounce frequency in a dumpster till it implodes. Packard Bell on a Mac Pro, seriously?

If it's 15inch or less try 1024x768 @ 70hz.
If it's 17 inch or larger try 1280x1024 @ 70hz.
