Hi,

I'm wondering how to create a very simple applescript. I just want it to set the system date to February 5th every time that I launch a particular application. Is this possible?

Thanks!

You should be able to run a shell command that does 'date -s "02/05/2008 00:00:00"'. I don't know if applescript itself can set this, i looked around briefly and didn't see anything. The script could probably do this first, then launch the app. I am not too familiar with binding scripts to other actions, but that may be possible, too.

Just license the app, and the date restriction will go away =).
