What I would do is the same split for the SSD that you have planned out.
For the 1 TB drive, I think i would split that into 3 partitions, 300 gb as HFS, 300 gb as NTFS, and 300 GB for FAT32. Don't ask me how to do that, I'm not sure if that's even possible using bootcamp, but I think a 1 TB drive is huge, and might as well use it with the best speed with HFS and NTFS, and using the FAT32 partition mainly as a transfer partition (avoiding the extra drivers). Backups should be on an external drive or two.
