Using BOTH iCloud Photo Library and My Photo Stream

Is there any way to view your photo stream on your device? I'm only seeing it on my Mac now that I've turned on iCloud Photo Library.
 
Not possible as far as I know. It's PITA but this *hopefully* will be fixed when the yosemite photos app is released next year. For now, I've been putting all my photos I want to see on my mac in a shared stream then going into iPhoto to view them.
