using canon pixma mg5420 with......

my new retina macbook pro. i downloaded canon's printer software---all except the 'my image garden'. just curious if anyone that uses the same/similar printer added 'my image garden' or if they just stayed away from it?

We have the mg5460, I stayed away from the image garden and just installed the printer and scanner driver sw, my wife installed it. It makes a slight difference to how you initiate a scan but other than that....
