I'm home from college for the summer, and left the DVD player that I use with my TV at school. Anyway, I was wondering what kind of video quality I could expect using my laptop as a DVD with a VGA connection with my 32" HDTV? Will it be acceptable, or will I be losing a lot of frames.

PS, it's a Sceptre TV and a Dell E1505 laptop. Thanks for any help you can give.

It'll be fine.

Use a dvi to hdmi cable, and the quality is right up there with the best oversampling dvd players, plus you can watch all the hd trailers in full hd glory.
