Yes it is. Just make a backup of your activation ticket using redsn0w.

My iPhone is currently unlocked with SAM. If I change my phone number but maintain the same sim card will the unlock tickets still work? anybody? thanks

SAM works for same phone - same sim
Check with your provider to see if same sim can be retained for number change.


To be safe, I would look back to those SAM unlock tutorials and double check with the hacker who figured out the procedure.
