I'd like to create a backup of my Windows XP partition since I'm going to be re-installing Boot Camp on a smaller partition size.
This is sort of a two parter. Does OS X's disk utility properly image NTFS drives (all hidden files in a Windows installation etc) so that it's still perfectly Windows bootable?
Also, if I'm making an image of a 100GB partition with 20GB of unused space in it, would I be able to image it onto an 80GB partition with no problem? (not my exact numbers, just an example)
Thanks!
