i got a macintosh dmg file i want to convert to iso to burn it on windows xp to use it on a mac. i did exacly as instructions say and it does create the iso but its only 3.8mb the original dmg file was 672mb what is wrong.

i found a way to convert it to iso using ultrasio. but it will not boot. it is a downloded os X 10.3 CD1 i only need it to reset password. is there any way i can make this boot . i have tried everything holding down C and option and the shift option crtl del and all that.

Downloaded copies of Mac OS X don't sound like properly licensed software. If you are not using a purchased and properly licensed copy of Mac OS X (i.e., one you own), these forums are not the place to come for help, even if you say you only want to use it only for a one-time password change.
