Is there a way to have leopard show all currently open windows in the Dock (not just windows that you've minimized). I sometimes work with a lot of windows open and on top of each other; I'd love to be able to see a preview of all open windows in the Dock without having to minimize them.

Have you tried Expose? It'll give you either all open windows, or just an application's windows - all scaled to fit together without overlap. Use hot corners, F9/F10, or dedicated key on current keyboards (F3). Also, on glass, multi-touch trackpads, 4 finger swipe down. I think once you start using it, you won't care much about Dock thumbnails. Expose is instant and gives you the maximum size for each open window (the more you have open, the smaller they will be).

I usually use UR/LL hot-corners for window Expose, and UL for Spaces (btw, with Spaces you can use Expose on top of it).
